[Saskatchewan, Canada] – NULIFE GreenTech, a pioneering Biomass Carbon Removal and Storage (BiCRS) technology provider, has successfully completed its first credit delivery to Frontier Buyers: Stripe, Shopify, H&M, and Google. On March 13, 2025, NULIFE injected 16 metric tonnes of bio-oil for permanent sequestration, resulting in the generation of 34 Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) Certificates. This milestone marks a significant step in commercializing NULIFE’s carbon removal pathway.

Utilizing its patented Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) technology, NULIFE GreenTech converts local waste biomass into bio-oil, which is then injected underground for permanent storage. This process permanently locks away atmospheric carbon, mitigating climate change by providing a verifiable and scalable carbon removal solution.

“This first successful credit delivery validates not only our entire CDR pathway—from biomass collection to bio-oil production, transport, and injection—but also the rigorous quantification and Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) procedures required by Frontier Buyers,” said Jerry Kristian, Co-Founder of NULIFE GreenTech.

This first delivery is part of NULIFE’s CDR pre-purchase agreement with Frontier Buyers, underscoring confidence in the company’s innovative approach to carbon removal. Beyond its direct climate impact, the process promotes sustainable waste biomass utilization, offering co-benefits such as improved waste management and reduced reliance on fossil fuels. As part of NULIFE’s strategy to expand production capacity with the intent to deliver the pre-purchased CDRs in 2025, the company continues to enhance its operations to meet increasing demand for high-integrity carbon removal solutions.

By demonstrating the scalability and reliability of its technology, NULIFE GreenTech is positioned to play a key role in advancing global net-zero goals. The company looks forward to continuing its work with industry partners to expand the impact of its carbon removal efforts.
