Saskatoon, SK: Ag-West Bio Inc., Saskatchewan’s bioscience industry association, welcomes three new members to its board of directors.
Joining the board are Jeff Bertholet (BASF Canada Inc.) and Gayle MacDonald (Independent), who were voted in at the June 2022 annual meeting of members; and Tyler Lynch (Saskatchewan Ministry of Trade and Export Development), appointed by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture.
The Ag-West Bio board is a dedicated group that works diligently to ensure that Ag-West Bio has the best strategy in place to advance Saskatchewan’s bioeconomy and grow biobusiness in the province.
President and CEO Karen Churchill says board members are chosen for their individual expertise and experience. “Jeff, Tyler and Gayle each bring exceptional skills and knowledge, and I’m very pleased they are joining our organization. I look forward to working with them.”
“Also, I wish to thank the out-going directors who have completed their terms: Steven Webb (who served as Chair for the past two years), Leah Olson, and Kate Sanford Mitchell. The strategic insight they brought to the organization was invaluable.”
Erin Armstrong (Independent) is currently serving as Chair. For more information about the Ag-West Bio board of directors, visit: https://www.agwest.sk.ca/about-awb/directors.
