Thanks to an extended season and no snow on the ground just yet, it still feels like Fall! Saskatchewan’s living skies have been particularly stunning this season, with drop-dead gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and unbelievable shows of Aurora Borealis.

Since we last connected here, we have celebrated the success of another Global Biotech Week (GBW). I am now entirely hooked on Café Scientifique after experiencing my first event as part of GBW. Now I try to get to them every month! It would be great to see you there. We’ve also shared a story in the Bio-Bulletin about GBW Highlights.

Ag-West Bio is heads down right now on many planning initiatives, including a renewed service package from Global Agri-food Advancement Partnership (GAAP), which we’ve outlined in our article about GAAP Labs. If you know any innovators that need lab infrastructure and expertise to move their projects forward, encourage them to reach out to us.

We’d also like to welcome our new Investment Manager, Mike Wolsfeld, who shares his vision for Ag-West Bio’s Commercialization Fund in an article in this issue. We’ve also highlighted two of our members in articles: 9 Mile Legacy’s LGCY: Innovation Hub and PathoScan Technologies.

Big thanks to all our partners that shared articles with us. We have features about upcoming events, emerging research, and important infrastructure available to our ecosystem. I’d also like to call attention to Dorothy Long’s article on the importance of the agriculture field using Generative AI. The future is ours to embrace!

Stay warm, enjoy the holiday season, and if I don’t see you out in the community, we can check back in here once Winter has settled in.
