Jeff Bertholet

Greenlight Bioscience

Since October 2023, Jeff has been employed in two contract roles: He serves as Industry Liaison at the Plant Sciences Department College of Agriculture and Bioresources, University of Saskatchewan; and with Greenlight Bioscience, he is employed as a Development and Technical Service Consultant.

Jeff received his BSc in Agriculture and MSc in Weed Science from the University of Manitoba and has more than 40 years of agricultural industry experience in both eastern and western Canada. He worked most of his career with BASF Canada and held positions in field research, R&D planning, and marketing. Most recently, he was the Technical Service Manager and a member of BASF Canada’s leadership team. Throughout his career he was involved with a number of associations and professional organizations, including Board of Director positions with Canadian Weed Science Society, Canadian Seed Trade Association, Cereals Canada and Ag-West Bio.
