Horizon Pet Nutrition

Jason actively farms with his brother north of Prince Albert growing barley, wheat and canola. He is also a founding owner of Horizon Pet Nutrition, Saskatchewan’s only premium dry pet food manufacturer. Jason earned BSA and a MSc degrees in Agricultural Economics from the University of Saskatchewan. Jason also serves on the Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Board and the Canadian Agri-Food Policy Institute. Previously Jason was on grain commission boards, research boards, and foundations.

Jason started his career as a research economist with the Provincial Ministry of Agriculture, then when the opportunity presented itself, started and built Horizon Pet Nutrition who exports pet food from Rosthern Saskatchewan to all Canada and the United States.
