The faculty and graduate students from a range of disciplines at the U of S – for an engaging conversation about research on stakeholder engagement. Denise Carpenter will also join the conversation. Denise builds relationships and delivers value to multiple stakeholders in complex business environments. As former Senior Vice President of Public and Government Affairs at EPCOR Utilities Inc., through her ability to ask the right questions, respect diversity of thought and build consensus, Denise steered the company to win awards and accolades. Denise has also led strategic planning for the Canadian Nuclear Association and the transformation the Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada. She lives and works in Toronto, Ontario.
 
Denise will share her personal experiences of both successful and unsuccessful stakeholder engagement. As researchers, we will participate actively in the discussion by connecting our theories, findings, and insights to Denise’s stories from the field. This collaborative session is an opportunity to connect, reflect, share, and learn.
