This is what it takes to APPLY
- Individuals or Teams with a U of S affiliation (students, post-doc, alumni, faculty and staff)
(U of S ILO staff not eligible) - Technology-based business idea(adding value to products or services or creating new product or services in any sector)
- Saskatchewan-based start-up
- If incorporated – less than 1 year, and not a subsidiary
- Commitment to participate in all training workshops and programs.

- $50,000 cash from the ILO to launch your business
- Office space for a year at Innovation Place
- Professional services from Deloitte
- Financial services from RBC
- Ongoing support from the ILO
- Awards also made for 2nd & 3rd place
This is what you need to do NOW
Complete the application and email it to the ILO by Friday November 28th, 2014.
And then….
- The first week in December, all of the applications reviewed by a panel of judges
- Top 10 finalists announced December 10, 2014
- Top 10 advance in the challenge and participate in training and workshops developing the plan to launch their business from December to May.
- Business Plans due May 1, 2015.
- Teams pitch to the judges May 13, 2015
- Top 3 pitch at the Finale for the Challenge Grand Prize May 20, 2015.
