2012 Exporter of the Year Award
sponsored by The Exporter of the Year Award was introduced in 1999 to recognize the export achievements of STEP Regular Members. The Award recognizes such achievements based on a variety of criteria including:
- the introduction of new products/services into new markets
- a significant increase in export sales
- a high ratio of export sales to total sales
- a positive impact on the community through job creation
The 2012 award recipient will receive public recognition, affirmation of business excellence from peers as well as province-wide and international acknowledgment. Applications are reviewed by a Selection Committee of Saskatchewan business leaders involved in providing assistance to exporters. Eligible companies must be Regular Members of STEP who are actively exporting.
The submission deadline is August 10, 2012. The recipient will receive the award at the STEP Trade Conference in Saskatoon to be held on September 26, 2012. Information regarding the award/application process can be obtained at www.sasktrade.sk.ca.
