  • Manufacturing and Logistics – March 19-20, Toronto, ON
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control – April 21-22, Montreal, QC
  • Engineers in Manufacturing and Research and Development – April 23-24, Montreal, QC
  • Clinical Trials – June 2-3, Toronto, ON
  • Agri-Biotech, Bio-Energy and Bio-Industrial and R&D – June 4-5, Toronto, ON
  • C-Suite and Finance – June 23, Toronto, ON
  • Marketing, Business Development, Sales and Communications – June 24, Toronto, ON
  • Information Technology and Data Management – July, Toronto, ON

*Note that two focus groups were already held in Vancouver, BC on project management and legal / regulatory.


Focus groups will review and discuss: 

  1. The critical bio-economy roles 
  2. The occupational overview and draft national occupational standards
  3. Educational, training and credentialing requirements
  4. Core industry, technical, regulatory, professional and work process competencies 


BioTalent Canada will pay for travel and accommodation is provided.
