  • Bob Tyler (University of Saskatchewan)

    Bob is a Professor in the Department of Food and Bioproduct Sciences and an Associate Member in the Department of Plant Sciences, at the University of Saskatchewan. He has been engaged in teaching, research and extension in the areas of food processing, product development, and grain crop processing and utilization for nearly forty years at the U of S and at the National Research Council of Canada.

    Karen is Director of  Research and Market Support for Cereals Canada. Her current work with Cereals Canada is focused on leading the Sustainability Metrics Project for the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Crops, wheat research strategy initiatives and regulatory issues as they impact agricultural trade.

    Shawn is the Executive Director of the Agriculture Research Branch in the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture. Shawn’s work focuses on the Ministry of Agriculture’s science, research and innovation funding which involves engaging with stakeholders in the agriculture industry to coordinate provincial investments into organizations, people, projects and in the demonstration of new agricultural practices and technologies.

Within that role, she provides leadership for the agency and provincial government as it relates to matters affecting innovation at the funded research institutes. Danya has worked in economic development for the province of Saskatchewan for the past 20 years.

    Kendra Mueller has had a passion for agriculture for her entire life. She grew up on a farm near in north east Saskatchewan and she and her husband Gordon now run a 7500-acre grain farm near Humboldt, SK, which produces a variety of grain, oilseed and pulse crops. They use the latest technology to operate the farm in a long-term, sustainable manner.

    Steve was named New Technology and Intellectual Property Portfolio Development Leader at Dow AgroSciences in 2013 (now Corteva Agriscience). He represents Corteva Agriscience on several major external collaborations, including the Victorian Department of Environment and Primary Industries Australia, Fraunhofer IME Germany and the National Research Council of Canada.
