Operated by the Fedoruk Centre, the state-of-the-art Saskatchewan Centre for
Cyclotron Sciences is a major new resource for the Saskatchewan agricultural and biotechnology sector. Molecular imaging techniques using radioisotopes produced by the cyclotron can shed light on biological processes in humans, animals and plants, ranging from identifying specic types of cells to tracking metabolic pathways in real-time: From nutrient transport and stress reactions in plants to targeted diagnostics for chemotherapy-resistant forms of cancer.

This presentation will provide an overview of the facility’s capabilities and highlight opportunities for research and collaboration.

A wine and cheese networking reception will follow the presentation.

This event is free. Everyone is welcome!
