Gordon Keller: New therapies for disease treatment with stem cells

Gordon Keller, Director of the McEwen Centre for Regenerative Medicine, is a researcher with expertise in biology, stem cell research, cancer research, and organ repair. His talk will focus on the field of regenerative medicine using pluripotent stem cells – “master cells” that can potentially produce any cell or tissue the body needs to repair itself.

Dr. Keller’s lab is generating human heart, blood, cartilage and liver cells for developing new therapies to treat disease.
