Lakeland College is an inter-provincial college (Alberta & Saskatchewan) with campuses in Lloydminster and Vermilion and participates with the post-secondary leadership teams in Saskatchewan as well as Alberta. Lakeland is known for its student-led, student-managed teaching model. We have a 2,200 acre commercial farm (Student Managed Farm powered by New Holland). We are proud of two new, technologically advanced, facilities - a Dairy Learning Centre, which opened in 2017 and an Animal Health Clinic that opened in the Fall of 2018. We have a full complement of Commercial Agriculture Production programs (crop and livestock) available to students. Lakeland is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science, Agriculture Technology degree program. Lakeland also has extensive research capacity in commercial crop and livestock production, which research scientists established in both areas. We value our extensive research collaborations with industry and other organizations.
