Virgie Tomas

Manager of Finance and Administration

With 14 years of management accounting experience in the oilfield industry, Virgie came to Canada in 2011 and never looked back. She joined TRTech in 2011 before moving to Genome Prairie as Senior Accountant in 2015. In November 2021 Virgie joined Ag-West Bio as Manager of Finance and Administration. Her role is to assist the CEO to achieve organizational excellence through responsible, transparent, and diligent management of the financial resources of the corporation; to ensure activities are aligned with the strategic roadmap; and to meet the deliverables to our stakeholders, members, and partners. Virgie is also an entrepreneur and sits as a director for two charities and one not-for-profit organization.
