Drew Britz

Drew Britz (CPA, CA) was the VP Corporate Administration and CFO of the Saskatoon Airport Authority for 20 years (retired in 2019). During that time Drew was responsible for accounting, finance, contract administration and human resources. As a member of the senior management team Drew worked directly with the board on strategic planning, financial reporting and corporate governance.

Drew obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Saskatchewan and started his professional accounting career with KPMG working out of the Saskatoon and Christchurch New Zealand offices. After returning from New Zealand, Drew was able to connect his rural Saskatchewan upbringing with agricultural research and value-added processing as the Director of Finance with the POS Pilot Plant Corporation in Saskatoon.

With a passion for sports and community Drew has been a player, coach, volunteer and member of the board on a number of sporting associations and host committees for local, provincial, national and world championships. Drew is a former chair of the Finance Committee with Tourism Saskatoon and he is a graduate of the Queens School of Business-Executive Program and the Institute of Corporate Directors – Not for Profit Program.
